Des's Membership Stats

Club Treasurer and stats boffin Des Livings has been looking at membership trends over the past 5 years and came up with the following numbers which reveal that we're in better shape than ever (statistically if not physically).

Year/Members

2018/64

2019/67

2020/56

2021/58

2022/78

2023/90

Des's numbers  show that while in the earlier years new players were basically just keeping pace with those leaving, we have now seen steady growth since the COVID period. Drilling down, he reveals:

  • Of the 64 members in 2018, 29 were still members in 2023.

  • On average a member attended 24 training sessions last year (excl.competitive events).

  • The most sessions attended was 77, while 68 members attended 10 or more sessions.

Concussion Protocol

guidelines issued...

The FA has ordered that all football clubs, including Walking Football, must have concussion protocols in place.

A confirmed concussion requires at least a 14-day respite from physical activity followed by at least 5 days of gradual exercise prior to a return to full play.
