A fantastic performance by all involved today. Both defeats were tight games and we were unlucky against Paringdon as this game could have quite easily have been a victory. Some very disappointing refereeing didn’t help our cause.
A big thank you to all players who helped out and gave their all. A testament to the team’s performance came from Chelmsford’s Over-65s England captain commenting what a close game we gave them.
Tony K was magnificent in all matches and Barry was class in front of goal including a brilliant 4-goal haul vs Romford. Thanks also to Brian B for his performances in spite of his wife’s hospitalisation. Our best wishes to them both
