The Yellows drew 0-0 with an improved Southend. We then beat Cheshunt 2-1 with both goals scored by Phil Iles. Cheshunt’s only goal was a late penalty. Rob Wood scored the winner in a 1-0 win against Billericay White, with the last match against the good League Division 1 side Little Oakley , which contained some England players. The main Little Oakley threats were neutralized by close man to man marking. Unfortunately they eventually scored the only goal of the game, with us losing 0-1. In the 4 matches we only conceded 1 goal from open play and 1 from a very late penalty. This goes to show the extent the Yellows have improved and proves what a hard team we are to beat. Well done to all players, I could not have asked for more.
