REMEMBERING KEN...

As a club, we were so saddened to hear that Ken Howard had passed away after his long battle with cancer. As other messages have said, he was a great bloke and a true club man and it’s hard to believe we won’t be playing alongside him again. He loved his football and over the years he had served the club as a Committee member and a team manager and, of course, as a valuable player known for his dogged defending. He was, as he always made obvious, a huge Hammers supporter.  Ken was well known for his tireless enthusiasm and his sense of humour and he enjoyed nothing better than to have a beer and a good  chinwag with his footballing mates after training. He will be sorely missed by us all.

Our sympathy and condolences go to all his family.
